Financial District Real Estate
Boston’s Financial District is bordered by Downtown Boston, Government Center and Chinatown. It is the home to the headquarters of several mutual fund companies such as Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, DWS Scudder Investments and a number of banks. While most of the space in this small neighborhood is dedicated to commercial use, there are many notable residential exceptions. Russia Wharf, a recently completed condominium building along Fort Channel offers 32 stories of living space. South Station Tower, a new residential building near Boston’s South Station is slated to begin construction soon. The Financial District is a great option for someone who may work in the area, but would like a very short commute.
